Description:

Pipefitters needed in Maryville and Knoxville, TN and surrounding areas for commercial/industrial projects Pay: $25-$29/hour DOE *$100 Sign-on Bonus* Responsibilities: Cut, thread and hammer pipe to specifications, using tools such as saws, cutting torches, pipe threaders and benders. Assemble and secure pipes, tubes, fittings and related equipment, according to specifications, by welding, brazing, cementing, soldering and threading joints. Attach pipes to walls, structures and fixtures, such as radiators or tanks, using brackets, clams, tools or welding equipment. Inspect, examine, and test installed systems and pipelines, using pressure gauge, hydrostatic testing, observation, or other methods. Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading. Plan pipe system layout, installation, or repair according to specifications. Requirements: 5 years of experience Pipefitting on a commercial/industrial level Employees must have proper PPE hard hat, work boots, work gloves, safety glasses, and safety vest. Must have all hand tools.
