Westminster Village is seeking full-time Licensed Practical Nurses available for 2nd and 3rd shifts to join our Health Center nursing team in a union eligible position!! Those interested in PRN, are welcome to apply as well! Our Health Center is a 96-bed skilled nursing center that offers in-patient residential care, short-term rehabilitation, and specialty services. We have no agency and only 24 patients for every nurse with 3 aides to support them!!Westminster's primary focus is to promote our resident's well-being by providing high quality nursing care. Some of your tasks include providing direct patient care, administering medications, performing assessments, and putting together the appropriate documentation of a resident's medical record. What we offer: Excellent wages with shift differentialsRecognition and rewards programsTeam member events and activitiesGenerous time off programRetirement plan with company matchHealth, vision, and dental insuranceFSA and HSACompany paid life insuranceConvenient scheduling appTuition reimbursement program and scholarship opportunitiesPotential for growth and developmentGreat, fast-paced, and exciting work environment Job Duties Include: Assist leadership with the 24-hour accountability for resident care Perform direct patient care to residents according to physician's orders and in conformance with recognized nursing procedures, established standards, and administrative policies Administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assist with administration of specialized therapy including infusion therapy, PICC lines, respiratory, wound care and treatments as prescribed Performs admissions including assessments and documentation on all residents Participate in the care planning process and assists in maintain the accuracy of care plans between scheduled reviews Observe and encourage infection control measures in accordance with facility policy as well as the rules and regulations governing infection control practices Protect patient confidentiality in all aspects of care and all communication of information, computer communication, telephone communication. Direct communication MUST be handled in strict confidence according to the laws which govern Patient Confidentiality Perform and document assessment of residents including behavior monitoring, physical assessment and response to specific medications, etc. Assist physician in examination of resident or with treatments being performed by physician Respond to emergency calls across campus if needed Perform other duties as assigned Requirements: Must be a graduate in good standing of an accredited school of nursing Current and unencumbered license to practice in the State of Illinois as a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse Current CPR certification is required Working knowledge of healthcare delivery in the Geriatric, Rehabilitation, or Skilled Nursing setting PI203d7027246b-29448-34294542PDN-9bf7ae3f-4c1d-4f6b-a2ec-956abb9f9f4f
