The Enrollment Marketing Specialist reports directly to the Executive Director of Strategic Enrollment Management and is a vital member of the admissions team, responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to attract prospective students and drive enrollment growth. This role collaborates closely with admissions staff to create compelling marketing campaigns and materials that effectively promote the institution to potential applicants. Essential Functions: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans to support enrollment goals, including targeted outreach campaigns, digital advertising, social media initiatives, and print materials. Collaborate with admissions team to identify key messaging and positioning strategies that resonate with target student populations. Create engaging content for various marketing channels, including website, social media, email campaigns, and digital advertising platforms. Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and opportunities for student recruitment. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials. Monitor and track the effectiveness of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and metrics to optimize performance and drive results. Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in enrollment marketing to continually enhance strategies and tactics. Knowledge and Abilities: Strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, with an emphasis on enrollment marketing in higher education. Proficiency in digital marketing channels and tools, including social media platforms, email marketing platforms, content management systems, and analytics tools. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling messaging and content for diverse audiences. Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop innovative marketing approaches to attract and engage prospective students. Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work that reflects the institution's brand and values. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field. Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in marketing, with a focus on enrollment marketing or higher education marketing preferred. Comfort with and ability to speak publicly and verbally communicate on behalf of the University. Demonstrated success in developing and implementing marketing campaigns that drive measurable results. Knowledge of enrollment management principles and practices. Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation platforms preferred. Ability to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for events and recruitment activities.
