Role Overview: As a History Teacher, you will play a crucial role in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to secondary aged students with SEND and communication needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality engaging History lessons , catering to the diverse needs of students. Provide cover for absent teachers, ensuring continuity of learning and maintaining a positive learning environment. Adapt lesson plans and teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of students, promoting engagement and progress. Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers to support student well-being and academic achievement. Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions to support positive behaviour and manage challenging situations effectively. Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status QTS or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience working with students with SEND needs is desirable but not essential.
